Grab your pooch and pound the pavement to raise funds for the Addison County Humane Society!
On Saturday, October 6th at 11:00 am on the Green in Middlebury loads of dogs and people alike
will gather for a howling good time for the whole family.
The event runs from 11am to 2pm and the actual pledge walk takes place at noon. The festival
includes lots of fun pet contests including sill pet tricks, best kisser, and musical sits,
games like "dig-like-a-dog" for prizes, face painting and information tables from other
community organizations. Cooper and Lavoie will kicking up some great tunes and yummy
treats will be available for everyone. Great prizes will be awarded for top fundraisers,
adults and kids categories. Everyone who raises at least $50 will receive a free ACHS tee-shirt.
The walk is a comfortable ½ a mile or so, you do not have to have a dog to participate — in fact
volunteer to walk one of our shelter residents. You can download our pledge form here.
Or new this year go to firstgiving.com/woofstock to raise money online by reaching your faraway friends
and family. We hope to double last years' pledges by using this new way of reaching donors. Join us to
make a difference for the animals in Addison County.
