What is a Guardian Angel?
A Guardian Angel is a special person that sponsors a kennel at the shelter or an animal placed in a foster home. The period of sponsorship can be one month ($30), three months ($90), six months ($120), or twelve months ($200).
What happens when I become a Guardian Angel?
When ACHS receives your sponsorship form, a special holiday Guardian Angel placard is prominently displayed at the shelter. A duplicate placard and letter will be sent to you shortly thereafter.
What if I give Guardian Angel Sponsorship as a gift?
Guardian Angel Sponsorship makes a great gift of the heart. After the placard is placed, an acknowledgment of the gift and duplicate placard is sent to the recipient, or to you if you choose to deliver the gift yourself. The acknowledgment may include a brief message if you wish.

Why should I become a Guardian Angel?
People become Guardian Angels for a number of reasons. Some people wish they could take home every animal at the shelter. Becoming a Guardian Angel is a way to help an animal find a home. Guardian Angel sponsorship helps us care for the animals until that special person comes through the door to take them home. Becoming a Guardian Angel is also a way of showing your support for ACHS. Hundreds of people will see your Guardian Angel sign prominently displayed at the shelter.
